New York: Cupples & Leon Co.. Good+ in Good+ dust jacket. 1919. First Edition. Hardcover. 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 212 pages; 1919 Cupples & Leon HC/DJ 1st edition. Soundly bound copy in original color pictorial dust jacket from art by Howard Hastings. Third title in the 4 book series. In oatmeal colored cloth with pictorial design to cover board and titles in blue and brown. A few pin head and pin point sized holes in the cloth at joints from silverfish predation and trace loss of emulsiong at spine from same. Page block edges superficialy soiled. Color pictorial dust jacket rubbed and worn with chips, nicks and short closed tears at edges. Half inch tall chip from base of spine and smaller but stillsignificant chips missing from the top edge. Jacket lightly shelf soiled and toned. Uncommon title and scarce in dust jacket. G++/G++ or a bit better .
