The bindings are square and secure; the texts are bright and clean. Free of any creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of any underlining, hi-lighting or marginalia or marks in the text. Free of ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, or labels. A handsome, near perfect copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing minor, unobtrusive cosmetic flaws only. Very close to 'As New'. The Slipcase shows moderate wear to the edges and corners. Maroon satin cloth binding in the publisher's card slipcase. Each volume possesses a bound-in maroon silk marker. The two volumes are bound into a maroon cloth connecting structure at the spine, bound facing each other. One volume has mostly text and duotone illustrations. The second volume has the color plates. The Cathedral of Vasily the Blessed, commonly known as Saint Basil's Cathedral, is a church in the Red Square in Moscow, Russia. The building, now a museum, is officially known as the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos on the Moat or Pokrovsky Cathedral. It was built from 1555- 1561 on orders from Ivan the Terrible.
