Sobre este artículo
"KILL OR GET KILLED" - Riot Control Techniques, Manhandling, and Close Combat, for Police and the Military by Lieutenant Colonel Rex Applegate with its original dust jacket. Published in 1976 by Paladin Press. Profusely illustrated with photographs and drawings throughout. The contents are as follows: Introduction to Unarmed Combat; Offensive Unarmed Combat; Defensive Unarmed Combat; Knife Attack and Defense; Combat Use of the Hand Gun; Combat Firing with Shoulder Weapons; Disarming; Prisoner Handling and Control; Raids and Room Combat; Training Techniques and Combat Ranges; Elementary Fieldcraft; Police Baton and Miscellaneous Weapons and Techniques; Chemical Munitions for Control of Mobs and Individuals; Civil Munitions for Control of Mobs and Individuals; Civil Domestic Disturbances and Their Control; Communist Tactics and Strategy in Directing Mob Violence; The Professional Riot Control Unit.
From the dust jacket: "'Kill or Get Killed' brings together in one volume the best information on techniques of hand-to-hand combat, handling prisoners and other subjects of importance to law enforcement officers. The expanded section on mob control in the new fifth edition is especially welcome, adding greatly to the book's utility and value to the policeman. A basic reference textbook, 'Kill or Get Killed' should be studied by every police officer who wants to assure his ability to meet his responsibility under any circumstances, as well as to protect himself against the hazards of his profession."
Condition:
Clean covers and spine. Sharp cover corners. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Nice interior - the pages are clean and white and appear unread with no issues found. Some very light soiling to the top edge of the text block. Overall the book is in Near Fine condition. The dust jacket has some light soiling and foxing; small tears at the spine and flap corners; some chipping of the paper along the flap creases...overall the dust jacket is in Good+ condition.
