Publisher's cream cloth decorated in green. Cloth on covers very slightly bubbled, otherwise a near fine copy. Contains the first appearance of Rudyard Kipling's poem "The Outlaws" and the first appearance of Thomas Hardy's poem "Sonnet on the Belgian Expatriation." The fifteen tipped-in color plates include: "Unconquerable" (Arthur Rackham) Not Titled (Edmund Dulac) "The Gloomy Thick Wood" (Kay Nielsen) "Diesirae" (Maxfield Parrish) Hughey 37c.
