Frontispiece portrait, with tissue guard. Illustrated by the Author with numerous Portraits, Sketches, Photographs & Facsimile Letters &c. Boards are a little bumped at corners. Inside the book does have some sporadic foxing, but is the only copy signed by the author we can find for sale online at the time of writing. xxxviii, 434 pp. 230 x 150 mm (9 x 6 inches). . Première édition. Signée par l'auteur sur la moitié du titre. Couverture rigide en toile bleue avec décorations et titre dorés au dos. Portrait en frontispice, avec protège-tissu. Illustré par l'auteur avec de nombreux portraits, croquis, photographies, lettres en fac-similé, etc. Les planches sont un peu bosselées aux coins. L'intérieur du livre présente quelques rousseurs sporadiques, mais il s'agit du seul exemplaire signé par l'auteur que nous ayons pu trouver en vente en ligne au moment de la rédaction de ce document. xxxviii, 434 pp. 230 x 150 mm
