Previous owner inscription on the right front flyleaf - "H. H. Richardson 2905 E. Broad Street Richmond Va." Contents include diaries; six rosters of Confederate companies in the 26th and 34th Virginia Infantry and 5th Virginia Cavalry; a memoir of the King and Queen Artillery, and more Confederate Civil War history. The previous owner was a noted Architect in Richmond.
