Fine/near fine. Tight and lovely first of this modern facsimile edition. Rene of Anjou (1409-80) served as King of Naples (1435-42) and fancied himself as painter and author. This Arthurian romance allegory (1457) was illustrated by Barthelemy d'Ecyk, his court painter.
