Sobre este artículo
McClelland, Goodchild & Stewart. Not Stated, Presumed First Editions. Trade Paperback. Very Good-/No Dust Jacket. Vol I - 331 [iv]; Vol II - 393 [xii] pages. Faded gold lettering on the spines. Covers are lightly shelf worn. Vol I top of the spine is worn. A very good copy of this collection of essays by John Skirving Ewart, (1849-1933), who was a prominent Canadian lawyer who practiced in Toronto, Winnipeg and Ottawa and who established his reputation arguing the Manitoba Schools Question. He was an anti-Imperialist and a Canadian Nationalist and a strong advocate for full Canadian independence. This is a heavy set and will require additional shipping charges (at cost).
