Lavish black-and-white illustrations throughout.
Volume is RARE, and is one of the most striking books in our collection. Richly and beautifully illustrated. Suitable as a bespoke gift or investment book.
Condition of the book is Very Good-. Some wear to cover, including bumped corners, light edge wear, and scuffs on both front and rear covers. Light foxing and finger touches throughout (see photos). Tight binding, and interior pages solid and sharp. Overall very presentable, but we disclose all issues.
Modern facsimile copies of this book are available (e.g., on Amazon: "This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.This work was reproduced from the original artifact, and remains as true to the original work as possible."). The copy for sale here appears to be the only original copy of this volume currently available worldwide. And in collector's condition.
