With frequent black & white photos and drawings, and three maps. --- In wood grain-look yellow paper-covered boards with spine titling in red foil. Volume wrapped in yellow dust jacket with images of Carson and other individuals to front and back panels. --- With prior owner's signature to front free endpaper, else an-about Near Fine copy: bright, otherwise unmarked and tightly-bound. Unpriced jacket also very nice but with slight soiling and an open tear at head of spine; wrapped in removable archival mylar protector.; Octavo - 8 to 9 in. tall; xviii, 277 pages .
