Binding remains firm. A previous owner's name to front free endpaper. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing and fraying to spine ends. All surfaces tanned, particularly spine. Boards are slightly bowed.

Stanley Paul and Co, 1922. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1922. First Edition. 190 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth. Shaky binding due to severely cracked hinges, but all pages remain attached. Pages are mildly tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Moderate thumb marking to some pages. Tearing and loss to pages within index, only affecting text on one page. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable corner bumping and some scuffing to edges. Spine and edges are heavily sunned, with noticeable crushing and slight splitting to ends. Various noticeable marks overall. Heavy rubbing and scuffing also.

Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean.
