The main character is a bit annoying for the first 15 pages, but keep reading, it's worth it! Dougless Montgomery is an American with a knack for choosing the wrong men to get involved with. Her fiance, her latest wrong choice, abandons her in a church in England. A rather oddly dressed man (in armor?) suddenly appears and the adventure begins.
