With 11 full-page collotype reproductions from copper engravings by John Buckland Wright taken from the Golden Cockerel Press edition of 1938. Printed in red and black with blue stars on "Hollandsch" paper. Clandestine wartime publication. Pontius was the war pseudonym of the Dutch poet H.W.J.M. Keuls who translated the 42 quatrains of the Rubaiyat from Fitzgerald's English version. Number 349 of a limited edition of 525 copies. Usual light foxing, not affecting the illustrations. Light wear, crease and browning to wrappers. [28 pp.], 28,5 x 17,2 cm. .
