A UNIQUE SET OF DRAWINGS. 215 original fashion drawings 1874-1877, accomplished in original pencil and watercolour. 11 x 17.5 cm. , bound in contemporary brown cloth lettered “Ladies’ Fashions 1874-75 and 1875-7 in gilt on the spines. 215 plates hand-numbered in pencil. The plates are very well preserved, fresh and clean and in excellent state. A RARE AND UNIQUE SET. A collection of 215 original fashion drawings of ladies in a wide variety of dresses. They are drawn first in pencil then filled out in ink and beautifully coloured in watercolours. A fantastic archive of 19th century style.
