Sobre este artículo
Boston: Fields, Osgood & Co, 1870. First Edition. Small Octavo. (1)pp. ad, 442pp., bound in green cloth stamped in blind, spine lettering gilt, pale yellow endpapers, minor wear to spine ends, slight rubbing to joints. A very nice clean copy. When Stow wrote The True Story of Lady Byron's life, the critics were cruel here and abroad. With this new title, her critics and readers became even more abusive. She felt it was time and her duty to defend what she had written in her biography of Lady Byron.
