Sobre este artículo

New York: Walter J. Black, 1949. Early Reprint. Hardcover with Dust Jacket. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo. Pp. [2], 3-175. Bound in taupe cloth with brown lettering on spine. Light evidence of wear. The color illustrated dust jacket is price-clipped but otherwise bright. First published by Knopf the same year, this uses that publisher's Detective Book Club jacket with the title page showing the Walter Black imprint. A Kent Murdock mystery involving a Hollywood starlet and a king's ransom in smuggled jewels. The uncredited dust jacket, a triumph of noir intrigue, is now housed in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
