A scarce book. -- Overall Condition. "Dawn Bartsch excelled as a pilot at a time when women were not welcome in the cockpit of a commercial airplane. Dawn's career had her hauling kegs of fuel to places called Mammoth and Molar, often flying blind and landing safely - even at -60F. Her flights into the village of Old Crow, above the Arctic Circle, provided an important lifeline to the outside world. She and CPY navigated this hostile environment in the 1960's".-dj.
