This work provides an insight into the life of the journalist and author Lafcadio Hearn, detailing his life in Japan and his family. The work also contains a selections of letters written by Hearn to his sister. In the publisher's original cloth. Includes one of the fly leaves of the very scarce dust wrapper. Externally very smart with fading to the spine, rubbing and slight bumping to the extremities and wear to the head of the rear board. Hinges starting.
