Dating from January to December 1928, the volumes each have coloured title pages, as well as some coloured illustrations. Translated as 'the happy age', the works provide interesting insight into children's publications of the era. Condition: In decorative half-morocco binding with gilt detailing. Externally sound, there is wear to the boards, extremities, joints and backstrip, with joint starting to backstrip and some rubbing to extremities. The hinge is also strained. Internally the pages are firmly bound and largely bright and clean, although there is age toning and the odd spot throughout. Overall: GOOD..
