London; Printed for Thomas Tegg, 1839., 1839. Hard Cover. SECOND EDITION. 12 mo bound in sixes, pp. [6], 350. Engraved frontispiece and half title by T. H. Jones. Black half-calf with 4 raised bands, gilt titles to spine and marbled boards and endpapers. Spine tips and corners rubbed with minor wear; boards a little scuffed. Scattered foxing, mainly to frontispiece and half title, some offsetting and toning to engravings. A few pages corner-creased. A Very Good copy. Novel set in Ireland by the Durham-born novelist and poet Anna Maria Porter (1780-1832), first published in 1804.
