A lovely hand-printed edition of William Blake's "The Lamb," first published in "Songs of Innocence" in 1776. The colorful prints heighten the innocence of the poem, coming to a magnificent peak in a double-page illustration that incorporates a sculptural embossed ground for the three-color linocut depicting a tree. Linda Anne Landers printed a larger edition of this text in 2001, and has printed several editions of Blake's poems throughout her career.
