Illustrator: Photographic. includes bibliography, frontispiece, and other black-and-white photographs, maps within the text in black-and-white, and double page end page maps showing the journey. Original illustrated dust jacket. (Apparently by Andrew Feint). This book is a highly individual impression of Great Britain and Ireland as they are today (1949), observed with the cuteness and sat down with gusto. Slight darkening of the top edge of the text block, original bookseller's rubberstamp on the verso of the rear free end page lower right-hand corner, rubbing and chipping to the top edge of the dust jacket, with minor loss, there are also two tears, one being 0.5, and the other .75 inches long. Light rubbing of the base edge of the dust jacket especially around the spine. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. XVI, 352 pages,. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Illustrator: Photographic.
