Inside text is in Excellent to Like New Unread condition. There is a stamp from "The Colonial Press, Inc." on the first end page that states this is an "Imperfect or overstocked book make available to their employees for their personal use". Since I see no imperfections, this must have been overstocked. No other markings inside or outside of the book. Outside pictorial covers are nice with some minor corner and edge wear. Vintage Cloth Cover Landmark Hardback Book with Dust Jacket is in Very Good Plus condition with a tight binding and clean crisp pages. Inside text is in Excellent condition and appears unread and unused! There is a name, teacher's name and room number written on the title page. No other writing or markings in the book. Outside cloth covers are nice with some minor soiling to the top of the outside spine. Book includes the "Dear Young Reader" letter that was provided to members of the "Young Readers of America" club. Letter itself is nice with just some small soiling and edge wear to the top edge of the letter. Dust Jacket is in Very Good condition with some minor soiling to the back cover and some edge chipping and small missing pieces primarily at the top of the outside spine.
