Pages are lightly tanned with mild foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Mild cracking to hinges and gutters, with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Tape reinforcement to hinges, with former owners inscription to reverse of frontispiece. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Water staining to gutters. Rubbing and a few small nicks along text block edge. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with mild bumping and fraying to corners, and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate tanning to spine, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a subtle forward lean. Pen marks on front board.
