Publisher's advertisements on back board; both boards printed within decorative border. Pages untrimmed. Lara written by Lord Byron; Jacqueline written by Samuel Rogers. Printer statement on title page verso. Early Am. Imprints, ser. 2 (Shaw & Shoemaker), 31056. The two poems were first published together in London in 1814. Former owner's name on title page: S.L. Keene. The New York edition is much scarcer than the London edition. In Very Good- Condition: cover is soiled and lightly stained; ends of spine and corners are rubbed; some loss of paper on spine; lightl foxing and browning throughout; otherwise clean and tight.
