Sobre este artículo
Americana lmb2 The Lark Magazine. Book The Second. Nos. 13 to 25. May 1896 to April 1897. Published by William Doxey, San Francisco, in 1897. Gelett Burgess, Editor. Hardcover. Unpaginated but over 300 pages. 6" x 8." The issues have been bound up in a cloth binding with an illustration of Pan. The Cover says "Book II -Numbers 13-24 but the last issue Number 25 "The Epi-Lark" has been tipped in. One could classify the book as good, but because of the nature of the paper used it is best to only call the book acceptable. $50.00 Box 70, III, 4
The illustrated covers are clean and in good condition with some wear. The contents are all toned. The periodical was printed on poor paper originally. Some pages of the contents are still uncut. A few uncut pages were roughly opened. ... I noticed one page with paper loss, but the part of the page that was detached was laid-in the book. .... All of the illustrated black-and-white paper covers are present. Who knows? Maybe the published decided to bind up his remaining stock and sell the issues in a hardcover book.
