Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown endpaper (John Bowman-Manifold, Lieut.-Commander aboard HMS Exeter, killed in action during the Battle of the River Plate). An early printing, complete with the scarce jacket. Overall book condition is Very Good Minus. International postage will be less than the stated rate.
