Bright, shiny, clean, square and tight. Sharp corners. NO owner's name or bookplate. NOT a remainder. All pages are fresh, crisp, and unmarked. Hardcover. 22 cm wide by 25.5 cm tall. Text in French. Illustrated throughout with art reproductions, many in full-color, as well as old portraits/photographs and letter facsimiles. Title given above is from the title page. The title on the Dust Jacket is different. It reads: NORBERT GOENEUTTE SA VIE ET SON OEUVRE OU L'ART LIBRE AU XIXe SIÈCLE (1854-1894). Bound in the original green cloth, stamped in shiny gold on front cover. Includes dust jacket.. First Edition (première édition). Hardcover. Fine condition/Good dust jacket. Besides book fairs and mail-order catalogues, long-time collectors and dealers will remember our lengthy For Sale ads in the Antiquarian Bookman and similar magazines. Our inventory of over 40,000 volumes is especially strong in the specialties listed, but contains fine books in a variety of other fields as well. Because most of our books are stored in protective boxes, rather than on shelves, they cannot be viewed as a whole.
