First published in 1935 as Dr Lasker's Chess Career. The collection follows the early part of Lasker's career, extending from 1889, when he won the hauptturnier at Breslau, gaining the title of Master to his defeat of Steinitz in 1894, when he became World Champion, and up through his victory at St Petersburg Tournament in 1914. Condition: corners bumped, light edge wear else very good.
