Book Interior VERY GOOD/ Boards Poor due to binding crack / Dust Jacket Missing. Sewn binding. Rag edge pages. Boards and spine are black cloth, lettering gilt, 100 is blind embossed on front cover. Spine is straight, square, but not solid due to binding cracks. Book is cracked between inside front cover and ffep, 1/4 inch Wide of cloth binding shows and paper is completely torn at seam, this allows front board to move towards and away from spine a bit, but book is still solid in the binding. Book is cracked between the inside back cover and back end paper 1/8 inch W of cloth binding shows to only half way up, rest is fine, paper is completely torn from bottom to midway up, back cover is much more solid than front cover. Book boards and spine are flat, no rips, no bent corners, spine is a bit sunned but perfectly legible, front cover moves from left to right about 1/4 inch, spine has some minor horizontal creases top and bottom, book has minimal edge wear. Page edges slightly sunned and bottom edges have three or four light brown stains. Inner end papers are colour maps The Last 100 Days, same front and back. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, clear, flat. Black/white photo plates. Acknowledgements. Notes. Index. Book copyrighted 1965.
Sinopsis
John Toland was one of the most widely read military historians of the twentieth century. His many books include Ships in the Sky; Battle: The Story of the Bulge; But Not in Shame; The Rising Sun; Adolf Hitler; and No Man’s Land . Originally from Wisconsin, he lived in Connecticut for many years with his wife.

IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.
This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
