Sobre este artículo
Edinburgh: William Blackwood and Sons, 1860. Small Octavo. In two volumes. 326 and 327pp., Library edition. The author was best known for The Last Days of Pompeii.. He also coined the phrases "the pen is mightier than the sword", and "the almighty dollar" and others. He had been read more than Dickens. Bound by Root in 3/4 olive green Morocco over green cloth, raised bands with compartments lettered and decorated in gilt, top edges gilt, marbled endpapers, some darkening to spines, date at foot of vol. I has the 8 rubbed off. A very good set.
