There is on the front free end page a circular statement of first edition, limited printing, and numbering this book at number 515/3000. The book shows no sign of damage. Laminated illustrated slipcase, is rubbed at the corners and there is slightly of being of the gloss printing at the top right-hand side edge. the book was evidently the first railway title in a new series all published at 267 x x 330 mm landscape.
