This is a classic environmental book, scarce as a hardback first edition. Arthur Carhart, the first author, was an early leader in the wilderness movement, an environmentalist and conservationist. The book gives an historical account of the extirpation of all wolves from Colorado. . 8vo 8" - 9" tall. 295 pages. F6 .
