No dustwrapper, some scuffing and bumping to spine ends and corners of red boards, also tears to both sides of the top end of spine strip, binding starting to split at title page, yellowing to the pages, but otherwise a not too bad copy, with black titles on spine still clear, of this not-very-common (I see no other copies online as of February 2022), hard-cover book. No publication date given, the book was originally published in the US in 1924, but this looks to be a later (1930s) UK edition. A western (or possibly a north-western) story by the author, who was well-known in his day for his Canadian Mountie adventures featuring "Renfrew of the Royal Mounted". This story, though also set in Canada, is not one of those. 316pp.. Hard Cover. Fair/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
