The personal stories of 15 people who worked for Abilities Inc., the company founded by the author which employed only handicapped people. 338 pp. VG hardcover in dust jacket with some rubbing and edge wear. Endpapers, including signed page, show some browning and spotting but text pages clean and unmarked. Sound, tight binding. DJ protected by a new clear archival cover. (Henry "Hank" Viscardi, Jr., 1912-2004, overcame his own severe physical challenges to become a pioneering leader in integrating disabled people into the American workplace. He founded the National Center for Disability Services and the Henry Viscardi School for the Disabled. He advised every president from Franklin D. Roosevelt to Jimmy Carter.)
