The flyleaf notes that Brent-Dyer has a capacity for 'satisfying the schoolgirl's taste for fun and adventure.' 'The Chalet School' series contained approximately sixty school story novels by Elinor Brent-Dyer. They were initially published between 1925 and 1970. In original paper covered boards and held in original, price-clipped dustwrapper. Externally, vert smart with slight fading to the extremities and to the head and tail of spine. Wrapper is worn and torn with tape repairs on verso, some slight loss and a bit grubby.
