Previous owner's name and "March 1956" written on front free endpaper. Black boards with gilt lettering on spine. As a result of the printing process 6 pages have some excess paper at the bottom corners because of the way the pages were cut. These could be easily trimmed. Dust jacket has some small chips/tears. Frontis is a black and white photographic illustration of Lawrence of Arabia. Contains 12 photographic illustrations, including the frontis and 3 maps. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 447 pp.
