Lawrence became well known for his role in the Arab Revolt and the Sinai and Palestine Campaign, and his vivid accounts of his activities and associations, which earned him the title of 'Lawrence of Arabia.' Illustrated with a frontispiece and numerous further black and white full page plates. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear and minor bumping to head and tail of spine. Previous ownership ink inscription to title page, undated. Internally, firmly bound. Minor spotting to fore edge, not affecting pages that remain bright and clean. Very Good Indeed

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
