Boston Massachusetts: Privately Published by Thomas W. Lawson, 1902. Numbered, limited edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. A very good copy of this classic history of the World Famous yachting race. Appears to have been recased, with new endpapers in Quarter binding with marbelled boards and leather spine with title label tipped on to spine. Illustrated in monochrome and with chromolithographs. This is number 497 from a numbered edition of 3000 copies - this one presented to Linton Hope & Co - the British Yacht Designers. Collated complete but with some minor water staining to the fore-edges of pages 181-199, not affecting text (see photos) and a tear to the corner of page 9 without loss. T.E.G. At 3.2Kg this is a large and heavy book that might require a modification to the shipping charge if it is to be sent outside the UK.
