Sobre este artículo
294 pages. Octavo (8 3/4" x 5 3/4") bound in original publisher's red cloth with gilt lettering to spine in original pictorial jacket. First edition. Priscilla Arrabal is a clever, young woman with a bright future, until her world comes crashing down around her. She loses her job and finds that her boyfriend has moved in a new girlfriend. Disillusioned and with her life in shambles, she boards a bus to Houston where she intends to start over. When the bus stops in a rural town along the way, she impulsively decides to layover a few days and soak up the local color. But the road ahead holds many twists and turns. Within hours, Priscilla is implicated in a brutal murder. She becomes a fugitive on the run with both the police and the murderer in hot pursuit. When Priscilla finds sanctuary with a young truck farmer, she allows her heart and desires to take over. But nothing is as it seems, no one is who they say they are and the danger is only beginning. Condition: Near fine in a fine jacket.
