Bound by Bickers (binder's ink stamp to front endpaper) William Edmondstoune Aytoun was a Scottish poet, who served as a professor at the University of Edinburgh. A charismatic lecturer, Aytoun attracted large number of students, and has been considered on of the first modern professors of English literature. In a calf binding. Externally, smart, with just some slight rubbing. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright, with just some spotting to the first and last few pages. Very Good Indeed

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
