Black-and-white photographic frontispiece, showing the Lindsay family in 1887. The text is illustrated with contemporary black-and-white photographs. Illustrated covers, showing an all over pattern of leaves, with green writing on spine. Illustrated dustwrapper, same illustration as for boards, only in a darker green. The autobiography of Daryl Lindsay. One of 10 children, five who became professional artists, he gives a full-blooded account of growing up as a first generation Australian. the dustjacket is chipped at the top of the spine, and across the top edge and bottom left-hand edge of the rear panel, with numerous short tears,Internally clean, no annotations.
