Aidan Crawley (1908-1993) was a journalist in the 1930's making an epic tour of the world, a dairy farmer, an RAF pilot who escaped from a German prison camp, a documentary film maker, a politician who became Under Secretary of State for Air in Attlee's government, and an author.
