Written by George Alfred Henty, an English novelist and war correspondent. Illustrated by Gordon Frederick Browne, an English artist and a prolific illustrator. Publisher's catalogue to the rear. In the original brown cloth binding with gilt. Externally, smart with rubbing to the extremities and the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark. A small tear to the front endpaper. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
