Criminal case promoted by Joseph Lucas Zecoal, an Indian from San Pedro Tlaltenango, against Miguel Colin, a mestizo, Juan Díaz, a black slave who belonged to Bartolomé Díaz and others.

While Joseph Lucas was at mass, the priest called him to his office where they accused him of being a snitch and among several men they tied him up, and they returned him to hear mass tied up; the wife of Joseph Lucas loosened the ropes. A man named Blas, seeing this, kicked him and took him out of the church, where the accused men that attacked him, tied a rope around his neck and dragged him with it. To defend himself, Joseph Lucas took out a knife that he used for plants and cut Miguel Colín, the mestizo, twice. The prosecutor arrived at that moment and took them prisoner. The trial favors Joseph Lucas.
