Sobre este artículo
Paperback. Very Good. Washington: GPO, 1848. 22p. Disbound (removed from a bound volume). 23 cm. No separate wrapper. A few dark spots and minor foxing. 30th Cong. 1st Sess. House. Report No. 724. Watson made advances to the agent of the Creek Indians for the value of slaves in accordance with an agreement between General Jessup and Creek warriors as an inducement to persuade them to aid in the fight against the Seminoles. The Creeks did their part but the government decided that they shouldn't be compensated for the value of the slaves they were not allowed to take or keep. A majority on the Committee of Claims supported the government and voted to disallow Watson's claim.
