Hardcover first edition, with dust jacket, published by The University of Virginia Press, 1992. 450 pages with Index, Notes, Bibliography, and four Appendices. A thorough examination of the Hogarth Press, from it's founding by Leonard and Virginia Woolf in 1971 to Virginia's death in 1941. Includes detailed information on the publishing process, which includes titles by Freud, T.S. Elliot, and John Maynard Keynes, as well as Virginia Woolf. Sturdy red cloth covered boards, with blue cloth covered spine, the author name and title imprinted on the spine within a red field. The cover boards are flat, the corners are not bumped or creased. No edge wear to the cover boards. This copy is not a remainder, not a library copy. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text block. The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped. There are a few age tanning dots to the top edge of the text block. Sewn binding is tight and square. Attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory.
