Sobre este artículo

no location: Leroy Gordon "Gordo" Cooper Jr. , 1975. No Binding. Near Fine. Near Fine. Leroy Gordon "Gordo" Cooper Jr. Signed Photograph, undated but signed circa 1970s; a gift to an American collector, the late Richard Calow. 8" x 10". Near Fine, with a top center modest crease, even smaller crease at top left corner. Zoom on scan. Strong provenance information available to purchaser, including autograph authentication and certification by a forensic handwriting examiner. "Gordo" Cooper is surely famous enough to the prospective purchaser, but his actual accomplishments, not to mention his awards and honors, are too many for this listing. He was the youngest of the first seven American astronauts, those of Project Mercury, but was also in the Gemini and Apollo projects. Dennis Quaid played Cooper in the acclaimed 1983 movie, 'The Right Stuff'. Cooper was also one of many astronauts who experienced several inexplicable apparent extraterrestrial encounters, through to the present day. Probably originally a promotional photo; at least one other example of the photograph has appeared online. Nonetheless, scarce. Ships in a new, sturdy, protective box - not a bag. LPR46
