La crise actuelle et l+impuissance ê l+enrayer ont certes remis en cause cet interventionnisme, mais est-ce bien l+âtat-providence qui fait question ou davantage les formes et les modalitÄs de ses interventions? Ce livre s+adresse aussi bien aux Ätudiants en Histoire et en Sciences Äconomiques et sociales, qu+aux ÄlÅves des Instituts d+Ätudes politiques et aux candidats aux concours administratifs; d+une faìon gÄnÄrale, ê tous ceux qui souhaitent conduire une rÄflexion sur l+âtat. AndrÄ Gueslin est professeur d+Histoire contemporaine ê l+UniversitÄ Clermont II. Il est actuellement prÄsident du jury de l+agrÄgation de Sciences sociales.
