No dustwrapper, minor bumping to ends of light brown cloth spine strip and to corners of red paper-covered boards, a small paper label on f/ep with original owner's gift message dated Christmas 1947, some yellowing to the pages, but otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. Originally published in 1937, this is a later reprint from 1946. The story deals with two young people learning to ride, really more a sort of how-to-do-it book disguised as a story. 205pp, colour frontispiece, b&w drawings and diagrams.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Dilly, Colin. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
